$400 Household Electricity Credit

The WA State Government has today announced a $400 one-off payment for all residential customers to assist with cost of living pressures. The announcement was made as part of the 2022-23 WA State Budget.

Bright Connect has received confirmation from the Government that households who are billed for their electricity usage by other providers (such as Bright Connect) are also eligible for the payment.

RevenueWA will be making payments to nominated bank accounts following an application process. As the budget has just been announced, Revenue WA has limited information regarding the application process at this stage. Once this information is provided by the State Government, we will be in touch with all our residential customers to them know how they can apply for the $400 payment.
